HELPFUL ORGANIZATIONS
Check out how communities around the globe are building capacity for dementia inclusivity.
Here are a few examples we love:
Momentia is a grassroots movement empowering persons with memory loss and their loved ones to remain connected and active in the community. The Puget Sound region is home to a variety of dementia-friendly opportunities offered by a growing number of community members and organizations.
Dementia Australia represents the more than 450,000 Australians living with dementia and the almost 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. They advocate for the needs of people living with all types of dementia, and for their families and carers. They also provide support services, education and information.
